Terms and Conditions for Kiwi Kids Scholarship Application
Before submitting your child’s information to apply for a scholarship at Kiwi Kids, please carefully read and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to protect the applicant family as well as Kiwi Kids, and ensure the scholarship process is fair, transparent, and secure.
1. Purpose of Scholarship
The Kiwi Kids Scholarship is intended exclusively for academic programs, services, and learning experiences offered directly by Kiwi Kids. Scholarship funds are non-transferable and cannot be applied to programs or services outside of Kiwi Kids. Misuse of scholarship funding will result in immediate withdrawal of scholarship support and may affect future eligibility.
2. Confidentiality and Use of Information
All information submitted in this application will be treated as strictly confidential. Information collected will be used solely for the evaluation of scholarship eligibility and for communicating with the applicant’s parent or guardian. Kiwi Kids does not share, sell, or distribute applicant data to third parties unless required by law or authorized in writing by the applicant’s parent or guardian.
3. Accuracy of Information
By submitting this form, you certify that all information provided is complete, truthful, and accurate to the best of your knowledge. If at any time it is found that false or misleading information has been provided, Kiwi Kids reserves the right to:
– Disqualify the application without notice;
– Revoke any awarded scholarship; and/or
– Request repayment of improperly used funds.
4. Required Documentation
You agree to provide supporting documents such as:
– Academic report cards or transcripts;
– Household income proof (tax return, pay stubs, income certificate, etc.);
– Special needs documentation (if applicable), such as IEPs or evaluation reports;
– Personal statement or letters of recommendation as requested.
All documents submitted become the property of Kiwi Kids and will be stored securely. Sensitive documents will be retained only as long as necessary to process the scholarship or as required by applicable law.
5. Application and Selection Process
Submitting an application does not guarantee a scholarship award. All applications are evaluated by a review team based on a combination of:
– Financial need;
– Academic motivation and merit;
– Program compatibility;
– Available funding for the academic term.
Kiwi Kids retains full and final discretion on the approval or denial of all scholarship applications.
6. Notification and Acceptance
Successful applicants will be notified via email, phone, or text message. If the applicant does not confirm acceptance within the timeline provided, the scholarship may be reassigned to another eligible candidate. Kiwi Kids may also request an in-person or phone interview with the parent/guardian prior to final award.
7. Consent to Contact
By applying, you consent to being contacted by Kiwi Kids staff for purposes of:
– Verifying submitted details;
– Requesting additional documents;
– Communicating application status;
– Discussing participation in Kiwi Kids programs.
8. Non-Discrimination Policy
Kiwi Kids does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, disability, or any other protected characteristic in its scholarship selections.
9. Use of Scholarship
Awarded scholarships:
– May only be applied toward tuition or learning services at Kiwi Kids;
– Cannot be redeemed for cash or used for unrelated educational providers or activities;
– Are valid for the period stated in the award letter and must be used within the timeline specified.
Any unused portion of the scholarship expires at the end of the award period unless renewed.
10. Withdrawal and Forfeiture
If the child withdraws from the Kiwi Kids program, the scholarship will be forfeited. Parents must notify Kiwi Kids immediately in writing if they wish to discontinue participation.
Kiwi Kids reserves the right to cancel or revoke a scholarship at any time if:
– Attendance falls below required levels;
– Participation or behavior is deemed inappropriate or disruptive to the program;
– Terms of the scholarship are violated.
11. Modification of Terms
Kiwi Kids reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any material changes will be communicated to existing applicants or recipients.
12. Legal Disclaimer
This scholarship is a voluntary financial aid initiative and not a binding obligation. Decisions made by Kiwi Kids regarding eligibility and award allocation are final. No legal claim can be made for not receiving a scholarship or for any perceived disadvantage during the evaluation process.
